Lisa Pooler has worked as Producer/Production Manager at MPG since October of 1999. She coordinates and oversees production and post-production for MPG’s array of clients and projects. Along with making sure everything runs smoothly, she is also our staff producer.

Over the years at MPG, Lisa has line-produced programs and promos for various clients including DDB (“Kraft Foods”), the Big Ten Conference for Teamworks Media, St. Joseph Health System for Magnani Continuum Marketing, “Ask Aunt Alice” series for Yahoo!, Steve Harvey Show promos for 2CMedia, Apple, The Gap, Motorola, Easter Seals and King’s Daughters Hospital. A highlight was producing a shoot for the Chicago segment of Big Bird’s Road Trip celebrating Sesame Street’s 50th Anniversary.

Most recently, Lisa produced two programs for Chance the Rapper. The first was a unique concert recorded in collaboration with the Ralph Lauren store in Chicago. The second was an hour long virtual holiday concert film.

Chi-Town Christmas features incredible visual and live vocal performances all shot at Cinespace studios in Chicago.

Lisa was the line producer for MPG’s award winning documentary “Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016, aired on PBS American Masters in early 2017 and won a Peabody Award in 2018.

She was also the producer for the Emmy-winning sports memorabilia series “A Piece of the Game” from 2013-2016 (DuPree Productions). She was the line producer for MPG’s feature documentary “Joffrey: Mavericks of American Dance” (PBS American Masters 2011). She was also the production and post-production coordinator for the multiple Emmy-winning series “NextTV” for the Chicago Urban League (2009-10).

Lisa received her Master of Arts degree from Northwestern University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.

When not working and figuring out the MPG schedule, Lisa tries to wrap her head around her own busy schedule at home with her twin daughters and husband.
